Ru Ellingham

This website is to inform the public of the potential harm Ru Ellingham poses to them.

Full name Rupert Edward Paul Ellingham.

Ru stole £53,000 from my elderly parents, while they were caring for my dying sister, in 2017. This has caused myself and my parents enormous distress.

He did this by befriending me, gaining my confidence, making himself useful, then appealing to my empathetic nature by telling me a sob story of his life.

He wanted to set up a property development company with me to ‘help him get a start in a new life’, and long story short he created a situation where he’d found the ‘perfect’ property but the deposit needed to be paid urgently.

My parents transferred the money to him as they had confidence I would be involved.

As soon as the money was in Rupert’s account he disappeared. No deposit was ever paid on a property.

I have since been contacted by many people who have been victims of Ru Ellingham’s fraudulent behaviour, some losing their entire life savings and leaving them in long term pain, some having long term mental health issues as a result. A common theme from hearing people’s stories is that he regularly targets females in a romantic setting, eventually defrauding them or their family.

I have a CCJ against Rupert Ellingham for £65,000 which can be produced as evidence of the court judgement against his fraudulent actions towards my family.

I also have copies of several other CCJs against Ru for other victims of his fraud.

Ru has been reported to the police, and to Action Fraud, but no action has been taken, therefore I reserve my right to inform the public of the danger that Rupert (Ru) Ellingham poses to them.

He was last known to be living in the Somerset area, UK.
